Sweet Expectations 

The only 'truly' vegetarian sweet shop in the UK, Sweet expectation has been accredited by the Vegetarian Society since 2012. The sweet shop situated in Rochester, is owned by ex-police officer John Baldock and uses plant extracts and beetroot instead of gelatin. 

The sweet shop made headlines during the Rochester by-elections in 2014 after its window display used different coloured bon-bons to mark each candidates popularity. 

The sweet shop offers a wide selection including, marshmallows, fizzy cola bottles and even a selection of vegan treats. 

Prices in the shop range from £0.20 for 'Fizz Wiz Cola' to £17.50 for a Flying Saucers Giant Tub. The shop even has a website for online orders for those customers further away.
